SmartScout vs SellerAmp: which sourcing job each does
SellerAmp SAS checks the profit on one product at a time while you source, from $19.95 a month, and SmartScout researches brands, sellers and supplier price lists, from $49 a month on the Monthly view. Both figures are monthly billing, as read on October 29, 2026.
Every SellerAmp SAS plan includes a profit calculator with eligibility and IP alerts, historical price and sales charts, Buy Box analysis and a Chrome extension. SmartScout works from the brand down and from the supplier list up. Its UPC Scanner, also called the price list scanner, takes a supplier's price list, matches each UPC to an Amazon listing and returns demand, fees and competition.

Price list scans against one-product lookups
SmartScout's scanner takes a supplier list of UPCs, ASINs or EANs and sorts it by Net Profit, Net Margins or ROI after referral, FBA and storage fees.
SmartScout's plan grid sets price list scanning at 5,000, 50,000, 100,000 and 200,000 ASINs from Basic to Enterprise, while a separate 5,000 ASINs a month line on the plan cards belongs to keyword research, so we use the grid for scanning.
SellerAmp SAS works per product. Getting Started allows up to 1,000 products a month, and Getting Serious lists unlimited product lookups under a fair-use note. Its Storefront Search shows SellerAmp's analysis for the products in any seller's storefront.
SmartScout documents no crawler of retail store websites, so deal scanning on store sites needs another tool. Tactical Arbitrage's own site describes searching 1,400+ stores; best online arbitrage tools compares the options.
